Albertson's and Safeway Total spent OOP...$13.74 + I received a movie ticket $12 value

total value..$73.52

It's been along time since the last time I blogged.

I have a few of you wanting to know how to save money on groceries.

So I will let you in on a few tips.

Safeway has a deal on Kellogg's cereal when you buy 5 boxes you get a free movie ticket.

I personally think $2.49 for a box of cereal is ridiculous but if you go to the movies allot or are planning on seeing a movie in the near future look at this deal like this... pay $12.00 (this is the price for 3D movies) for a movie ticket (cheaper if you have coupons) and get 5 boxes of cereal for $.45

My transaction went like this...

Kellogg's Cereal 5 @ $2.49=$12.45 - $1/2 & $1/3=10.45

$3 (M&M's)-$2.99 (when you buy 2 Rice Krispies coupon)= $0.01

Total $10.46

I paid $10.46 for a movie ticket , got 5 boxes of cereal free and paid a penny for a bag a M&M'S. I also have enough codes off the specially marked cereal packages to send in for a $5 gas card.

Today's Shopping Trip

Total OOP ... $22.25

I will be getting back a $10 gift card, $4 worth of rebates (rite aid) , 5 red box codes (free movies) and I received a $5 Catalina.
Taking all that into account I will have spent $3.25 on all that is pictured.

Rite Aid

Rite Aid has Stay free products priced @ $1.99 I used $2/1 coupon from the 3/28 Red Plum insert. They price adjusted the items to be $2 each so I could use my coupons.

I also used a $5 off a $20 purchase (for watching Rite Aid ad perks)

Swiffer refills are part of the Procter and Gamble Promotion Buy $20 get $5 cat. + 5 Red Box movie codes. I purchased 3 refills @ $6.99 each = $20.97 I used 3 $.50 coupons plus a $5 cat I had from last week. bringing my total down to $14.47

I will now send in for a $10 rebate for purchasing $20 worth of Swiffer Refills.

There are Doubles in this Sunday's paper! (My cashier told me she saw them)

Chips anyone?

Fred Meyers and Rite Aid were my destinations for today.

I bought over $100 worth of product and paid OOP $12.92

However Rite Aid will be paying me $16.49 in Rebates. Yahoo!!!

Fred Meyer

Skittles 3/$1 with in-ad coupon I had bogo coupon from face book.
I paid $0.17/2

Kettle Chips 3/$5 I had $1 off coupons making them $0.67 each. These chips will come in handy for lunches or if we can make them stretch Summer Picnics!

Barilla pasta $1 I used $0.75 coupons making them $0.25 each.

Rite Aid

Cover Girl is on sale bogo I used bogo coupons getting them = FREE!

Almay Cosmetics are bogo I used 2/$2 coupons = $7.49-$4= $3.49 (but purchase 2 and get a $5 rebate)(I need to go and purchase 2 more to qualify for this rebate)

John Frieda is 3/$15 and the Frizz ease is $6.49

I purchased 3 shampoo / conditioners and one Frizz ease. I used 3/$3 off shampoo/conditioner and a $2 coupon off Frizz ease. I also used 2/$1 off coupon from the Rite aid videos. Purchase $15 worth of John Frieda get $5 rebate

Plus get up to $6.99 Rebate for Frizz Ease.

I did Rite Aid in 2 Transactions and used a $5/$25 coupon as well as a $5/$20

Albertson’s Deals
This would have cost me $61.83 before sales and coupons. I paid OOP….$4.19 and I received $10’s in Catalina’s back.

5 Banquet Meals $1 each (I purchased these for the coupons in the box.)

2 Sour Creams $.99 with store coupon

Total...$26.98

I used $19.99 in coupons + 3 doubler's = $22.99 in coupons

Total $3.99 (This should have been $2.99 but I wasn't paying attention and one of my $1 coupons got lost in the shuffle) Plus I received a $10 Catalina .

2 Transaction

Chill Promo... Buy 10 Participating Products (frozen items) and receive $10 Catalina.

9 Apple Juice $.99 each

1 Grape Juice $1.29

Total= $10.20

I used my $10 Catalina payed $.20 and another $10 cat. printed!

This one could be tricky. The Juice that is producing the $10 cat. Is the Apple, Grape, Cranberry, Pineapple and Pineapple Orange (these are the only ones I have tried)

The Ad states that grape, Cranberry, pineapple and pineapple-orange are the ones that will trigger the $10 cat.

That equals out to be $.35 each iteam

I also recieved a $4 catalina from Safeway for purchasing 6 cresent rolls and at Walgreens I recieved a $3 worth of RR'S for the purchase of the musketeers and lip balm.

The Tolberone's were free!!! This week Walgreens had them for $.50 each and while shopping at Safeway I found over by the service desk a small display with a $1/2 coupon I grabbed a few knowing I could score some free Chocolate! Now I will have to figure out a cute way to gift these out to friends.
