Maximize

Maximize your BOGO Sales.
Everything you see was BOGO Free.
Rite Aid has a nice Sale going on right now.
(or at least allot of items that appealed to me)
I also paired this Sale with a Rite Aid $5 off $25purchase.

The Purex was $6.99 bogo = 4 Purex for $13.98 I had printed off 2 bogo coupons = all 4 Free
some stores don't take bogo coupons with bogo sales so just ask a manager before filling your cart. The store still gets paid for the item you just end up with two free.

The Kellogg's Cereal $4.99 bogo = 2 for $4.99 I will send in for rebate = both free

Palmolive $1.99 bogo = 2 for $1.99 I had a .25 coupon = 2 for $1.74

Got 2 Be hair care $6.99 bogo = 2 for $6.99 I used 2 $2 coupons = $2.99

Kit Kat = 2 for $0.50 = $0.50

Total before sales...$59.04

After Sales and coupons...$7.36 OOP ... when I receive my $4.99 in rebate my
Total... $2.37 OOP
I could have done better if I omitted the Palmolive but you can't always have it PERFECT.

Going to the Movies?

Albertson's... Has a deal (some prices end today)

Buy 10 Kelloggs, Keebler products get Two Movie Tickets.

I bought two Movie Tickets for... $16.95 and Albertson's gave me 10 packages of cookies.

So as I see it... I saved around $3 on the Tickets and now I have tons of calories just starring me in the face. O.K. don't worry these won't go to MY thighs I will share them with my kids.

Plus if you notice the packages they say free DVD when you collect 5 tokens. That means I can send in for 2 free DVDS (certain Titles to choose from).

This is how my Transaction looked...

$1.97x10=$19.70

5 Coupons .55/2=$2.75

$19.70-$2.75=$16.95

I HAVE MORE COUPONS TO DO THIS SCENARIO ONE MORE TIME.

PLUS I HAVE KELLOGG'S POP TART COUPONS that are part of the promotion as well plus IF YOU COLLECT 5 SPECIALLY MARKED BOXES YOU COULD SEND IN FOR ANOTHER FREE MOVIE TICKET.

Pop tarts are $2.50x10=$25-$5(in coupons)=$20 for Two Movie Tickets and 10 boxes of Pop tarts (with a chance to get one or two more tickets depending on your boxes).

Let me know if your are interested in the coupons and I will put them aside just incase I am not home when you come by to pick them up.

THIS IS ONLY A GOOD BUY IF YOU ARE GOING TO THE MOVIES ANYTIME SOON OR YOU NEED 10 packages OF COOKIES. hahaha!

However I now have a nice stock of bleach, Electrasol, Salad Dressing, noodles, spaghetti sauce not to mention our growing mountain of water. (Yea! food storage)

I decided to have a little contest... The one closest to my actual Out of Pocket will WIN...

Spaggetti....Sauce...Cresent Rolls...and a bottle of Salad Dressing.!

You have until May 3rd before Church to comment.

And I will present the Winner at Church on May 3rd.

If you can guess how much I got back in Catalinas there will be a Bonus!!

Good Luck!

The Ultimate Pizza Party!

Tasha wanted to have a small sleep over tonight to Celebrate her
Birthday (Monday the 20th).

She wanted Pizza!

(Yes, I could have made pizza from scratch.)

I told her that she would have to pay for it but that I would help her get a great deal!

Coupons and grocery sacks in hand we headed to Safeway. Tasha was still a little weary of what the cost was going to be but I was confident that we would get the best deal we could. We found 4 pizzas and 4 6pack Sodas + I threw in 3 small cans of crescent rolls.

The Pizza and Soda are part of the Living Well Promotion (Buy $30 get $10 oynp). Our total Before Coupons $35.83.........

Soda I had 2bogo (buy one get one) coupons...Crescent Rolls I used .25 and .35 coupon + the $3 cat. (see post below)...California Pizzas 2 $2 coupons and Newman's Own Pizza 2 $1 Coupons. (I found the pizza coupons on-line). We also used $10 Cat from my last Living Well Trans.

After Coupons $11.68 + We received a $10 cat. (Living Well Promo)+ $3 cat. (crescents)

Now we are equipped with enough party supplies plus More Catalina's to recycle.

Cresent Rolls

Abundant Food Savings ... Gave this great tip.
At Safeway's when you buy Three Pillsbury Crescent Rolls you get $3 ONYP
There are signs by the regular size doughs which are around $3 something apiece.
However this Catalina is working on the small 4ct package which is $1.29
3x$1.29=$3.87 OOP (out of Pocket) but then you get a $3 oynp = .87 cents for three.
**So of coarse I had to try this out!**
I made one small mistake but everything else went according to plan.
My first mistake was I grabbed four.
The coupons I had were .40/2 (hence the four)
My second mistake was I went brain dead and couldn't remember why I had grabbed four so I had her take the fourth one off.
(So I shouldn't have gotten the second .40 coupon but she had already scanned them in)
I also used a $2 cat from a previous Transaction + $0.03 for using my own bag which brought my Total to...$1.04
And then that wonderful Catalina machine worked it's magic and produced a $3 onyp.
The best thing about this deal is I believe you can roll it meaning... You can take your $3 cat. and buy more crescents = $0.07-$0.87 OOP but then another $3 cat. prints out.
I have some extra coupons if anyone is interested...Just leave a comment or call me.

Safeway Living Well Promotion

I have had Tons of Fun at Safeways
Their Living Well Promotion Buy $30 get $10 oynp (on your next purchase).
This promotion goes till 5/5/09
(pictures go from last purchase to first purchase)

I made this transaction this morning. (Thursday the 23rd)
I purchased....

2 Capri Suns $1.99each used 2 $1 coupons +a bonus safeway .50coupon (on one only) + when you buy two you get this koolaid zipper pouch free. (unadvertised)

4 Arrowhead 6pack water $1.99each used 2 $1 coupons ** when you buy 2 the catalina spits out a $1 off 2 coupon + a $2 oynp

2 Electrasol $3.99each used 2 $2.50 coupons

Hershey candy Bars $1.69each used 5 $1 coupons **I had heard that when you buy $10 worth chocolate you get $4 off automatically. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN?

I also used $12 in catalinas from my previous transaction.

Total before coupons = $30.06 after coupons

I PAID= $3.82 + I got $10 Living Well Cat. + 2 $2 cats. from the water.

These next Transactions have been through the last few weeks...

Look for peelies on products there are $2 peelies on the big packages of string cheese but you can use them on the smaller packages. Plus the Macaroni and Cheese 5 pack have peelies as well purchase a 5 pack and get a caprisun free.

I made allot of mistakes on this transaction like I forgot to give the Lady $6 worth of coupons.

I do want to express that you should always double check your reciept. My drinkable yogurts rang up at $4.99 when they were suppose to be $3 so of coarse I drove back to the store and had them take care of it. (That's a $2 mistake on their part) (I had a coupon for $1.50 + marked down $1.50 can you say FREE)

The other good thing about this transaction is my cereal will be free after rebate.

I can't find my recipet at this time so I can't give you a total.

Total =$7.23 + $18 in cats.

Here is a good example of double dipping into a promo.
Healthy Choice frozen meals where part of the LW Promo + there is a deal right now when you buy 5 get $5 off . Which means... Say you bought 10 total $29.90 throw in a box of tissue or something to bring you up to the $30 mark(living Well promo item) $30-10 from buying
(2sets of) 5 brings you down to $20 plus any coupons you might have (I got mine to less than a $1) Plus you get $10 back. I hope this helps I know it's confusing.
My Total on this purchase was $53.50 ($156.28 worth of food)
I could have done better if I would have split my transaction (I am still trying to fight it)
However...I am sending in for a $20 Rebate for my Ham plus I got $10 cat + $14 in cats from water and bertolli pasta sauce =$44 + hopefully another $10 cat we will see.
$53.50-$44= $9.50 When all is said and done or they will have paid me $.50 if I get another $10 cat.

Look for printable coupons on-line... There was a $2 coupon for All (you can usually print twice)
there is also a $1.50 coupon for the yogurt.
This Transaction after coupons and cats. =$12.14 + $16 in cats. and $1 coupon for my water.
try to double dip on promotions by buying things that will spit out catalinas.

Gatorade had $2 peelies on them.
The Tissue ended up being .49 with the $1 coupon you can find this on special Living Well adds.
also look for mark downs (these where marked down just because he had an overload of them)
ALSO re-use your plastic bags or use bags from home and save .03 per bag. Not allot of savings but every little bit helps.
This Transaction came to $9.43 + I recieved $10 cat.

I hope you can find this helpful.
Leave any comments that you have or any help you may need.

Past Albertson's Deals

This Past Week there was 3Double coupons in the Sunday's Paper.

I was able to get these re-fried beans for .25 cents a can.
When you bought 4 cans (priced @ $1each) a $3 Coupon Prints out. These are called Catalinas.
